As you already know the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) is impacting all of us, the amount of information (and misinformation) spreading around is almost as frightening as the virus. In these uncertain times we will like to reach out to you to support your travel plans (for those who have a procedure schedule with us) and/or inform you about the measures we are taken to maximize safety if you are considering coming in the near future.  As the situation around COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can possibly can to ensure your safety and well being.

Your Safety

As always has been, the safety of our patients is our top priority. We take great pride in maintaning the highest standard in hygiene and safety protocols. In response to coronavirus , we have taken additional measures develop in consultation with local and international health authorities (including the WHO and CDC) to make our protocols even more rigorous.

  • All our medical and non medical staff are receiving briefings and enhanced protocols.
  • We have increased the frequency of the cleaning at our facilities  and have ensured that our providers (transportations, hospitals and hotels) to do the same.
  • We have increased the deployment of antibacterial and sanitizers.
  • We have a department to constantly monitor the situation of this outbreak and take any additional measure recommended by the CDC, eventhough we operate at hospitals devoted exclusively to Bariatric Surgical treatments, and we do not cater to patients with respiratory diseases.

About Coronavirus in Mexico

At the moment, there are only very few cases reported in Mexico, and there are NO travel bans or any kind of restrictions taken by any local or international health departments.
