When reviewing gastric bypass vs sleeve, there are a number of factors to consider:<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"null\">How are a\u00a0Sleeve and Bypass\u00a0Similar?<\/h3>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Both procedures are minimally invasive( laparoscopic )with only five 1 inch (at most) incisions.<\/li>\n<li>Both procedures reduce the amount of food you can eat before feeling full.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up Protocol, Hospital Stay and Recovery\u00a0 are similar in both procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"null\">What is the Difference Between a Gastric Sleeve and a Gastric Bypass?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>The Gastric Sleeve procedureusually lasts 35 minutes, while a Gastric Bypass takes about 90 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>The Gastric Sleeve does not involve the intestine, while a Bypass includes gastrointestinal anastomosis.
